M Pro using too much CPU and memory
Just upgraded to Media Pro From EM2. Activation froze the app. Force quit, ok, relaunch, ok.
iMac Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4Ghz, 10.5.8.
Importing files seems to take up all CPU and mucho memory. Activity utility shows Media Pro using 0.5 CPU, MediaPro Importer using 96% AND another instance of Importer using 95% of CPU. As you can imagine this slowed the computer to a snails pace. Also, memory usage on the 2 importer threads used 750 mb of ram each.
Also, the activity indicator in the bottom right corner never stops spinning even though the catalog shows only Save As as possible indicating that importing has ended and catalog saved automatically.
Also, Mac tiffs, with LZW compression, not showing previews at all.
I would have started a Support Case but interface for that does not seem to allow Media Pro cases as it asks not pertinent questions to get to reporting a case.
