"Beach ball" OS X
Hello
I am using a 2015 MacBook pro with dedicated graphics card and I am still seeing the beachball each time I open c1 10. If I am looking in a folder with a few pictures in , the program i fairly snappy, but If I try to browse the catalog collection "all images" the beachball stay on for 1-2 minutes. I have about 30 000 pictures in my catalog.
Would think that c1 should cope with 30k pictures? If I try Lightroom, it starts up snappy, it changes mode snappy, and it browses snappy.
I dont like lightroom, so I hope somebody can help me getting c1 to work as it should..😊
Hopefully
Kenneth

Hi Kenneth,
This is a well known issue introduced on upgrading from v9 to v10. Many cases have been opened with the Phase One team, and it could be expected the issue to be solved. The only question is when.
Cheers,
Robert
P.S. I have more or less found a workaround by creating albums. They can be opened faster.0 -
Due to some strange reason CO on mac, when looking at the logs, have the strange habit of going into a single threaded save procedure every time you open it. This process freezes the app totally.
It's reported and confirmed.
I hae a hard time understand how it could have been missed during the testing. Perhaps it was ignored before release or simple not deemed critical enough.
I just hope that they fix it in 10.0.30
