How do I change the language for C1-7?

Being German, I installed the German version of C1-7, but with the user guide being English, I would like to switch to the English version, because having the software and the user guide in two different languages is quirky to say the least. Re-installing the software again with "English" as the default instalment language hasn't solved the problem, I keep being served the German version, and I shy away from de-installing completely for fear of getting a license problem Is there an easy way to change the software's language that I might have overlooked?

Edition --> Preferences --> (1) General --> Language

Thanks - in German that is "Bearbeiten - Voreinstellungen - Sprache", just in case another German has the same problem. That illustrates the problem that I had, "Bearbeiten - Voreinstellungen" isn't the translation for "Edition - Preferences" that immediately comes to one's mind. But with your help I could get an idea for where to look, thanks.
