Features of V5

New here so I better introduce myself - I am a pro working in Southampton (UK) and just thinking of changing from C1 V4 to V5 PRO. A couple of questions:

1. Has anyone tried the 'spot tool' and, if so, please can you tell me how good it is?

2. To watermark images I assume you can upload a watermark .png file you have made before. Is this correct?

  Spot tool works nice on even surfaces but is not something to brag about. Did I say nice?
  Watermark, from the manual:
  

  PRO
  Feature
  What image files can be used as Watermark?
  In general you can use any file that has a MAC/PC recognizable thumbnail
  embedded, this includes the most common files such as, jpeg, gif, png,
  EPS – and photographic files if the proper codec is installed. Read
  more on image codecs on the relevant camera producer’s website.

  
  You can download the manual separately to give it a thought and the program for a 30-day trial (all features working) to give it a shot.
