Masks Vanishing!
If you look at my previous post [[The Capture One forum has migrated to a new platform, as a result all links to Capture One related postsstopped working and have been removed]] with regard to this you'll see that I had a problem with masks being removed when Capture One updated....
I've just noticed that this has happened again.
I upgraded to 10.0.2 and all the previous masks I have created are still showing as being there but are non active.
By that I mean that if I select any mask I have created prior to the update the mask show in the list but if I select a mask and press 'M' nothing happens (no red mask appears) and if I remove the tick from a mask nothing happens.
All that work wasted, again!
I'm not impressed!!!

When this happened before, I found that I could restore the .comask files from a backup and that restored my masks. (Much relief!)

Ian,
Unfortunately I don't keep my backup files that long.
I only keep one backup for each catalogue.
Probably not too wise but... ☹️0 -

... and you don't have a backup of the computer generally, by any chance?

Ian,
I have been in contact with technical support on on their request to delve deeper into this 'problem' I checked the rest of my catalogues and found that the masks within those was still intact.
All I can think of is that I found a couple of catalogues that hadn't been updated since I had this problem the first time around.
I have replied to technical support to offer my apologies and to hang my head in shame.... ☹️0
