IMO - new HDR adjustments work well
Pleased with the Image Processing enhancements in Release 7. For my taste, the best improvement I've found so far is the change to Shadow and Highlight to lessen the effect on the mid-tone ranges. Makes these adjustments much more useable in my opinion.
Forums just now deal a lot with glitches, workarounds, and fixes, which is appropriate for a fresh release. Let me put my postitive two cents in for clients to check out the changes to HDR.

HDR has changed a whole lot indeed when you use the CO7 Engine of Capture One 7.
First, the sliders have become much more effective, resulting in lower values for the same result compared to previous versions.
Next, you have much more headroom for correcting shadows and highlights.
Last, you can use a larger amount of corrections before the image breaks into a weak soup of mid tones.
It is most refreshing to use the new HDR with CO7 Engine.0 -
With CO6 I don't like the effect of the shadow-slider. So I first use "Exporsure" to correcting shadows, afters this I just use Highlight.
With CO7 (and 5D Mark III) all together works perfect. Yet, I see structures in the cloud. I fear, I have to reconvert a lot of older images. 🙄 😁0
