I've been using session almost 3 years already. Last weekend I copied the images folds that contain the image files and capture one fold into another drive. After I reformat the hard drive and copied all the files back, I open the capture one, we'll all the adjustment I made and color rating are all disappeared.

How fast and reliable is the catalog system of co7?

  If you did indeed copy over the "CapturOne" folder among the RAW files along with all it's contents then no adjustments were lost. Barring a rename of the RAW files outside of Capture One, all the data should be right where you left it and just as accessible as ever.
  I'd suggest you create a new session and access the folder of images again.
