Tethering 2 Cameras to 1 Mac

Greetings,

I'm trying to tether two Canon 5D MarkIIs to a Mac Pro (OSX 10.6.8) running two sessions in CO Pro (6.3). I usually never have a problem doing this. When I create a second session and tether the second camera, it just doesn't shows up in the Camera tool. I've tried different ports and tether sequences, to no avail. I can get both cameras to work in their respective sessions independently, just not simultaneously. Any ideas?

I'm using a client's computer and can't install/update software without their IT guy, so I'm limited in that respect.

  From my understanding of the Canon SDK, this is a headache waiting to happen. The system Canon has in place uses a fairly standard PTP and in that it is only built to accommodate one camera at a time using the same protocol (ie. One USB and One Firewire). I think Canon would be the best source to pose this question to as any issues you might run into are likely happening before the Capture One sessions come into play.
  If you can connect two cameras simultaneously with Canon EOS then the best solution may be to set two different destination folders through Canon software (one folder for each session) and then turn on the Hot Folder feature in Capture One.
