newbie - camera controls not working with canon

just downloaded capture one 5 pro last week and trying to get things rolling.

i'm using:
win xp 32bit
canon 30d

under the capture tab, the camera controls are not available to me. so right now i'm just adjusting it on the camera itself. anyone run into this issue?

  The Camera Control Tool is only applicable to Phase One Camera Backs and Body. We would like to provide that type of dynamic control for other systems but are limited by the SDK supplied by the manufacture.

  Don't know about other manufacturers, but Canon actually does provide an SDK for developers.

  The SDK definitely allows control of EOS cameras from the pc. I use a stop-motion animation capture software that uses the SDK to provide full access to all camera controls, both on win & mac.
  
  Perhaps you guys could look into it.

  There are different SDK's out there. The one we use is limited, if that can change we'd be happy to follow suit.
