Black thumbnails on 16bit export!
I really thought that C1 would fix this problem on the latest 9.3 update, but no. This is a big problem for clients who want 16 bit tiffs delivered instead of Raw. Anybody have a work around???

This is an issue with TIF files of certain file sizes/resolutions (I'm not sure which off the top of my head) that causes OS X 10.11.6 to render corrupt thumbnails (in Finder) and Preview to show corrupted or black files. You can remedy this in OS X 10.11.6 by setting Tiling (under Options in the Process Recipe) to any value besides No Tiling. This will have minimal impact on file size. 0 -
Im either really tired, slow, or both. Where is, "setting Tiling (under Options in the Process Recipe) to any value besides No Tiling.". All I have in batch tab is the tool for batch...Que and History. Where might I find options for that tool. Thanks 0 -
In the tool tab "Output", tool "Process Recipe", tab "basic", field "options", you have the choice between 'uncompressed', 'zip', 'no thumbnail' and ...... 'tile dimension', where you choose 'not tiled'. 😉 0 -
Thank you! My first problem was not having a recipe with 16bit tif selected first. I was looking for a field called Options but that doesn't appear till you have actually selected a tif for export. Ive got it now thanks again! 0
