Can't use C1 demo
Hi
I downloaded C1 30-day demo just now, but every time I run it, and it asks me which mode I want, I click 'C1 Pro' 30 day trial mode and click OK, it informs me to change mode from Express mode it needs to relaunch. It then quits and never comes back. Every time I try to run it it's the same
Help?

Sounds like a permissions issue on your Mac.
The system isn't allowing Capture One to overwrite the file that it needs to run in the other mode. This is not uncommon among Macs, especially if in the past you have "Migrated" from a previous computer.
The simplest way to get the software up and running is to rename the Application itself, say from "Capture One" to "Capture One Six"... when the software launches is avoids the previously associated file. This is simply avoiding the error on your Mac, however. The best solution is to fix the permissions through Disk Utility.0 -
Ok I have repaired permissions, deleted and reinstalled, gone through and deleted every file in my library that has Phase one or Capture one in the name, still have same problem.
Can you give me a clue as to which file might be causing the issue?

Another tip that might help. In the screen where you select the 30-day trial, you can also activate as Capture One DB (second option). See whether this will start the program. If it does, deactivate it again (Capture One menu), restart and select the trial mode again. 0 -
