Custom metadata fields

Will CO keep my custom data fields intake and copy them from one file to another if I use full data sync in the metadata preferences?

  Hi Rick,
  
  First of all, will CO8 read your custom metadata fields. If not, next step (copying) won't happen as well. The Full Sync metadata option in the preferences won't help much, I suspect.
  
  Have you tried anything or are you investigating before jumping on the bandwagon?
