Canon EOS M5 support? Any workaround?

so I got the brand new EOS M5 and it's a neat little camera. DPP is horrible to work with, but at least since Thursday Lightroom and Camera Raw support it, so that's something. Now I would like to know if M5 support for C1 is incoming? Or is there any workaround to open the raws? The M5 shares a sensor with the 80D, so I tried editing the Exifs to 80D - while C1 opens it then, it only shows parts of the colors, the file is not displayed correctly. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I requested support for the M5 through PhaseOne's customer service so hopefully they know people will want it (it took them forever for the M3), but I don't think they will officially ever comment if support is coming or not. No work around that I've heard of, for now I'm using Lightroom (unfortunately). 0
