When are u programmers going to do about the wrong pixelcount in C1?
I want to buy your software but only if i have the GOOD pixelcount for my 20D......


Is it so difficult to solve it?

    Posted at the top of the Forum is a message regarding Known Issues. The pixel count is one of these. Right now there are several cameras that lose between 2 - 8 pixel rows of information at the edge in processing.
    Please know that I absolutely agree 100% that no pixels should be lost in processing. That said, the common sense in me thinks it really is not a big issue. How often do you Never Crop?
    Run a test and process images in softwares and compare size. It would be small fraction of total image lost and insignificant. I believe one can live with a few missing pixel rows in order to get superior image quality overall. If detail all the way to edge of image is needed, compose shot in camera, and take a step backward.

    No answer, meant it seems to not be a big deal to most users. Yes there are some Forum posts wanting to know Why; and I don't have an answer for this. Again, I do understand the underlying premise with the issue, but common sense should overcome.

    Having a \"Known Issue\" and having a commitment that it will be fixed is two different things. This was to be fixed in 3.7 and wasn't. Will we get a free upgrade version with this fix in it? Soon?

    I think answers should be given before asking people to spend $s. I agree, it may not be a short term issue, but it should not be something that needs to be lived with in the long term. There is too much (good) competition out there.
