Can't delete some Keywords

I am trying to delete all keywords from C1. I have deleted all but about 20 keywords from my "Catalog Keywords". When I try to delete any of these I get a dialogue box that states "The action item cannot be applied to any of the selected items".

How can I force delete these keywords?

If I go to Filters these keywords do not show up anywhere and if I search my catalog for any of these keywords no pictures come up.

I am looking for some help.

  Never mind. I was able to delete them. Closed the program and I was able to delete one, closed again and same thing. Eventually got it done.
