difference between proof and actual product
Hello there,
When I use C1 pro to enhance contrast for example, the change shows up in the proof of the image, but when I process it to a jpg format or some other format, it looks as though it softens up the changes that I made, so a true black comes out as an dark grey. It looks like it gets washed out. Is there a setting that is throwing this off, or is this an issue in the conversion.
I find in order to get what I really want, I have to really overcompensate on the sample image.

Take some time to review this document-- http://www.phaseone.com/upload/color__m ... _guide.pdf
Also make sure that photoshop is not making any conversions behind your back. Check the color settings options and make sure that the color coversion options are set 'to ask before opening\". that way you know if Photoshop wants to make a color change.
you should also have photoshop preserve embedded profiles for all color spaces.0 -
Under CS2 color settings w/c C1 changes to Phase One Workflow, can we change Offset Print - Euro Catalog to U.S. Web Coated (SWOP) v2 ? Would it make any difference to color output etc. ? 💡 0 -

Do you have a document that samples PC screenshots instead of Macintosh ?0 -
If you using the quick proofs option, it does not have the punch or clarity. 0
