Select the brush and start creating the mask. A layer is created automatically. Next, make your adjustments.

    Sure.

However, the newly created layer is empty. I would like to be able to create my own layer preset like: Dark, Bright, Bright + Hightlight, Noise Reduction High, etc...

So I can speed up my work flow.

    Thanks

I wonder whether you are expecting adjustment layers in C1 to be like adjustment layers in Photoshop. The name may be similar, but the concept is different. So for example, there is no concept of creating something like a Brightness/Contrast adjustment layer as you might in Photoshop. In C1 what we have is the ability to apply an adjustment or several adjustments to just a part of an image (so it's a local adjustment) using a layer so that you can turn that adjustment off or on. It looks as though you can't apply a preset to a local adjustment layer. (I just tried creating a new layer, and then tried to select a preset - say increase exposure by 1 stop. You can't do it. I find I can only select that preset on the background layer, not on the adjustment layer.)

But what I can do is select part of the image by drawing a mask and then pulling up the exposure slider, and perhaps the contrast or saturation as well - or I could use separate layers for each effect if I wanted to be able to try say just the contrast without the saturation.

    Yep. Sure.

For example, I just "corrected" some teeth from a portrait at a wedding. They were a little bit to yellow.

    It means:
    Exposure: +0,6
    Saturation: -20

It is time consuming to each time, click on the adjustment tab, then increase exposure, and decrease saturation. It would be even more if I would have more parameters (clarity, Color Editor, Noise...). For something I will to about 30 times today..

So, I would be very happy to see in the Style menu "Adjustement Preset" with the list of Preset I created and (if any) some defaults one.

So I would only to correct my teeth (or other things) do: Style -> Adjustement Preset -> Teeth-whitening medium, press B and select the teeth.
