Best performance GPU

I will built a new PC for Raw conversion and PS.Which is the "best performance" GPU with CO7?I am thinking to buy the Nvidia 580GTX because in the article is one of the "best performance" for CO6.Is it the same with the new version or is it better to go for a newer one like 670 or something else?Also any suggestions on the hardware are welcome.

  I am getting decent performance with a GTX 560 overclocked with 2 GB ram. You will probably get better performance with the 580 but don't know if it's worth the extra money. No experience with the 6 series cards. One thing I did notice is that previously I had a GeForce 9800 GT 1GB ram and between the two cards I didn't get any performance boost when C1 first builds the thumbnails and cache when you point it to a new folder of images. I guess that process must be CPU and main board ram driven.

  C16 worked for me best on Quadro series of cards, C1, i cannot see a difference.
