Apply iptc profile automatically
I'm currently working with capture one 6.2 on a mac.
I' working with a phase one P 40+. Usually we are shooting tethered.
Right now I'm looking for a way to automatically apply my iptc profile to each picture that I'm taking. I already figured out how to save my iptc contact and copyright informations as an profile. But what I need is that each the profile will be automatically applyed.
Is there a way how I can do that?

I assume that you mean preset or style where you say profile.
Both while shooting tethered as during import from memory card, you can have a preset or style applied. For tethering, go the Capture tool tab, Next Capture Adjustments tool.
In All Other, select Defaults with Styles. In Styles, select your style or preset with the IPTC info.0 -
thanks for your answer. I don't really know the english translation for everything in capture one since I'm using the german version.

I need all these information to be applyed automatically to every picture that I'm taking. I don't wanna worry about this anymore. I would like to set this once for ever. Is there a way?

Was Paul sagt, ist einfach, das Du einen "Style" anlegen musst, der "nur" die IPTC-Felder
enthält, die Du benötigst. Ich habe dazu "manuell" einem Bild die gewünschten Metadaten zugewiesen,
dieses Datenfeld markiert und "lokal kopiert". Und dann einen neuen "Style" /Stil angelegt, passend benannt.
Der heisst bei mir sinnigerweise "Kontakt-Metadaten (IPTC)".
Einmal angelegt, kannst Du diesen "Benutzerdefinierten Stil"
jederzeit einem oder auch mehreren Bilder zuweisen,
nachträglich oder schon bei der kabelgebundenen Aufnahme.
Um das "automatisch" bei kabelgebundenem Fotografieren zu erreichen, musst Du bei
"Aufnehmen/Anpassungen für Nächste / Alle anderen: "Standardeinstellung mit Stilen" wählen.
Dort dann den benutzerdefinierten "IPTC"-Stil einstellen.
Dann bekommt jede neue Aufnahme "automatisch" die IPTC zugewiesen.
Die IPTC-Metadaten kannst Du natürlich auch mit allen anderen Stil-Einstellungen kombinieren.
Beim Import von der Speicherkarte/ aus einem Ordner kannst Du diesen Stil auch schon "vorschalten".
Unter "Anpassungen/Styles". Dort dann wieder den IPTC Meta-Stil auswählen.

das ist aber keine richtige lösung, sondern nur ein entweder - oder.-
ich habe das gleiche problem, nur möchte ich erstens die einstellungen vom letzten bild übernehmen, (z.b. beschnitt),
aber ebenfalls meine metadaten in jedem tethered geschossenen foto haben. das geht nicht mit "Standardeinstellungen und Stilen"

Whether I read your post in German or translate it in English (), I do not understand what you try to say. Is it:
1) the provided solution works technically, but not in day-to-day practice
2) the provided solution does not work at all0
