Sharpening and Preview vs sRGB export problems
I am having problems geting my JPEG to match the in-program previewed RAW file with adjustments applied.
When I compare the image showed in the CO preview with the exported file (sRGB JPEG, TIFF or any) I can notice that colors are shifted, saturation is lost and highlights are affected, giving a very bland image, no matter the output profile used or changes in the exporting set-up I do, the file will never match UNLESS all the sharpening (sharpening tool and output) is disabled. Then I have a perfectly matching JPG (but totally soft of course).
When i adjust the sharpening in the program, CO preview works perfect, keeping the colors and everthing unchanged no matter if shaperning is applied. The changes only come when exporting. sRGB prooving also shows the file would be matching with the RAW, but when exporting, if sharpening is used they just dont.
The difference is not only in the way the CO preview presents the file but in the file itself (in the transformation when exported) since reimporting the "sharpened Jpeg" into CO, to use the CO preview in both files it can still be notice and color checks flags shows there are differences.
Have you ever notice this? Is this a bug with the CO sharpening rendering during exportation?

I can confirm this same behavior.
I see it on my windows machine but not on my mac.0 -
Are you viewing your exported images in a software where you are sure color management and such is correct? If you have Photoshop or similar available, try comparing an exported image at 100% to the preview in Capture One at a 100%. If there is a mismatch, there is indeed something wrong. If there isn't, it's your viewer that's the problem.
Edit: I didn't read the re-import of the jpg into Capture One again. It definitely sounds like something you should show Phase One support.0 -

I'm using the trial version, but I guess this shouldn't affect the results. It is a real pity because after several years using Lightroom I was convinced to move to CO, but this make it completely unusable as I can't predict how my files will look like...

My suggestion is to open a support case, I'll do the same. Anyone else that experiences this should also do it so they know it is not just a one off situation. 0 -

I will be posting any feedback from them, but i think it would be useful if anyone having this problem can open a case too. The more noise we do the bigger the chances of getting this solved as soon as possible 😄

This is the feedback I got so far (it is Christmas time we will need to give these guys sometime... 😊 ) Sorry to see this is happening.
Can you also check the images at 100% here to ensure this is not just an issue with the preview for the raw file.
Also can you go to Edit > Preferences > General
In here set OpenCL to Never for processing to see if this fixes the issue. You will have to restart C1 then re process the file here.

Unfortunatelly this did not help me (I already had tried, but I didn't know I had to restart C1 afterwards), but it may work for some of you.
I have also seen that when the JPG output resolution is reduced (IE. 2048px in the longest side) the color/highlights deviation is much smaller, almost aceptable. Just a band aid for the moment until this is solved 😄0
