Unable to get printer settings to "stick"
HI,
I'm using C1 Pro on Windows 7 64Bit.
I have an Epson SX415 Printer/Copier/Scanner that I use for occasional printing (most I send off to labs)
Every time I try and print I can change the Page Setup and that is remembered. But if I change Print Settings from the default for the printer (e.g. setting Paper Type/Bordered and swtich off Fast Print), these settings are lost between pressing the Print Button, setting the settings and when it rolls of the printer. Very frustrating and wasteful of premium photo paper.
No doubt there is a print driver issue here - but is there a way known to fix it?
Neil

In the printer driver part of Epson printers you can use Presets. Well, better is to say you must use the preset.
When you make a setting in the printer driver but you do not save that in the preset, the setting is lost already when you click 'save' or OK.
I am used to make a preset for each paper type and ink set (photo black or matte black) combination, although the latter choice does probably not apply to your printer.0
