Are there or can there be planes to support tethered shooting with Olympus dslr's. I know the market is short but it would be nice not to have to use three software programs to get one end result.

  In general, users posting here do not have any knowledge about Phase One's plans about features and functionality, unless previously discussed here. You could address your question directly to Phase One in a support case. Regarding tethered support, it is most of the time a two-step process. First, it is (or is not) in Phase One's intention to provide support for a specific brand or model. Second (which could come first), the camera manufacturer might not provide the necessary tools in a Software Development Kit to enable third party developers to implement the feature.
  
  I am afraid that besides Nikon and Canon very few - if any - camera manufacturer provide tethering in their SDK.
