Best way to make D700 color closer to 5D color
What is the best way to get the 2 cameras to have similar color? I used Canon for 10 years and then switched to Nikon and the slightly greenish cast on some skin tones and higher contrast were the first thing I noticed. There are all kinds of great color settings in the camera but they are useless if you shoot raw like i do, they cant be applied to a raw file, only to jpg's. I think what I really need is a custom created .icc profile made for C1 and that is way beyond my technical abilities. But, if anyone has done this, or worked on doing this, any info or direction will be appreciated.
thanks.
thanks.

If you have the Pro edition of CO 4.7, you could use the Color Editor to make a custom profile yourself. 0 -
I can alter the contrast and color with a custom profile, but would it map all the colors of a .NEF file in relation to the colors of a 5D .CR2 file under most lighting conditions? Has anyone tried matching colors from 2 different cameras? We did some test shots with a Gretag Macbeth color chart, and can see the differences between the 2 cameras, but aren't sure how to create a .icc profile that will work in C1 that will approximate 5D color in D700 files. 0
