Not happy with D3 Profile

Hallo

Why is it not possible to have a natural D3 profile like the D2XS ? I think the image is to
dark and has to much contrast.

    The most annoying thing, apart from the fact that colors look much different from original JPGs, is that light shades of color are not saturated, but dark shades are. For example very bright blue sky looks too gray, but dark water looks blue.
    If I try to correct the sky then dark colors are changed as well. So the too blue dark water becomes even bluer. I have to select colors very carefully in order to do the correction.
