Viewer Window won't zoom

I intend to submit my problem to support but I just thought I would ask here if anyone else is experiencing this problem. On a two monitor system where I have thumbnails on the right monitor and a single Viewer window on the left screen. I find the Viewer window does not zoom. In Ver. 5.0.0 I could fix this by deleting the preferences but in 5.0.1 it doesn't help. Anyone else have this and found a solution?

Similar setup, Viewer window does zoom in my setup (CO 5.0.1 Pro, OS X 10.5.8)

It is working fine for me now too. It could be that I was not waiting long enough for the previews to be made.
