Import Aperture library, Originals dont copy/moves
Im, migrating all my Aperture Libraries to Capure One.
It dont work to god. When im choose import Aperture catalog, it imports the pathes to the original pictures, creates the Previews/Thumbnails but do not importing the Originals, RAW files.
If I right click on Capure One Library, show package, then I can se a folder structure for the Originals, but no Originals in folders.

Found the problem, was low on disc space 0 -
Tested agin, an it wasen´t low on disc space.
Still have the same problem no originals copies to the new library.
Is it something similar to Apple Aperture Consilidate Originals to Library.0 -
If in Aperture the originals are stored inside the library, I suggest to move them outside the library and next try to import them again.
Tip: try with a small dummy Aperture library to see how it works out.0 -
Ok.
But then I don't get the advantage of importing, the library, with settings, albums, etc.0 -
If you currently store your photos inside the Aperture library you can relocate them to a folder outside of it. That does not change your albums, or anything else you did in Aperture.
After that you might copy a part of your library to a smaller one for test purposes. Then, by using then C1 import from Aperture function you can import your library including the settings, albums, etc. from Aperture. Just as in Aperture C1 gives you the possibility to store the photo's inside it's library. I would not recommend that.0 -

Why will you not recommend that?0 -
The most important reason is that I want decide where I store my originals. Next to it, if you store the iriginals inside the catalog it will becone very large, making less manageble.
Btw, there are quite a lot of discussions about this this subject irt Aperture.
Also, if you have not already done that I recommend that you read the several discussions regarding the move from aperture to C1 in this forum.0
