Old versions
In the knowledge base it says:
"[color=darkblue:3qehv4uz]Windows Computers: We suggest you remove previous versions of Capture One from the "Add/Remove Programs" list before installing the latest version of Capture One.
Go to Start>Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs>Choose Capture One and follow the prompts[/color:3qehv4uz]."
Is there any danger in using the above method after you have installed the upgrade. I've started with a new pc and would like to attempt to keep it as clean as possible.

If you classify "un-installing the current version" as danger, then yes.
I really wish this bug in the installer would be fixed. While there are multiple un-install entries, there is actually only one installed copy of the program. If you run any of the listed un-installs it will remove the current install of the program.
The previous listings can be cleared by editing the registry. This has been discussed before on this forum. I won't spell out exactly what needs to be deleted from the registry again. I figure if one can't search it out on here; the registry is the last place he or she should be messing.0
