selective importing
Hi
I shoot animation where by I shoot Raw and small Jpeg on a Canon DSLR
The RAWs are imported from card into C1 and the small jpegs go to a video editing program on another computer for a rough edit
the RAWs are later imported into the edit after they have been processed/graded with all the other shots
When I import I would like to only import the RAWs and leave the jpegs to go elsewhere
There dose not seem to be an easy way of doing this
At the moment I import all then sort by size and delete the Jpegs
I import about 150 images at a time so manually selecting them is very slow
I'm sure there is an easier way of doing this
I just have not worked it out...yet
thanks

CO 4.6's import is apparently not yet that smart that you can choose for either JPEG or RAW from a JPEG+RAW shoot. Some more advanced import/download tools in the market can. That is one option.
In the current setup, after import you can sort with Finder on file type and have the JPEGs moved or deleted. No doubt you can automate that task with Apple script or Automator but I admit I haven't been there! 😉0
