adding metadata to processed jpegs in C1 6

I added metadata in C1 6 to my processed jpegs and when I open the jpegs in CS 6 the metadata is not sticking. Is there a way to fix this or do I need to add the metadata in CS 6?

    The metadata is written into the JPEG upon processing. After that it will be read by Photoshop. Another method is that you sync metadata to XML. You have to set the Preferences for that.

    Capture One's workflow is that you add metadata to the raw file before processing to JPEG or TIFF.
