Flash Sync Voltage

I need to replace my wireless radio slave for use with my LightPhase and would like to know what the voltage requirement is.

  I have replaced my radio slave and all is working well again. I am using Speedotron Black line units.
  
  Is there anything that can be purchased that can be placed between the LightPhase and the sync cord to reduce excessive voltage to a safe level as a \"back up\" to a radio slave should that unexpectedly stop working as it did recently?
