Synchronize files moved on HD?
Hello - I am new to CaptureOne so this may be a very simple question with an obvious answer I've missed ...
I can't seem to find a way to synchronize / update files moved that have been moved on my drive in the capture one file directory. If a file is moved it's shown as "offline" and the program seems to continuously look for it throwing error messages in the event log each time i switch from the viewer to the browser,
The only work around I've come up with is to delete the entire folder(s) from the catalog and re-import. I see there is a "locate" option if an entire folder is moved but have not been able to find a feature which will simply updates files within an existing folder ... similar to the LR feature which synchs a folder.
Have I missed something simple? is the answer to always move files inside capture one?
Any input on this would be greatly appreciated.
thanks!

The Locate feature you mentioned is for images or folder of images that have been moved after import into the catalog (talking referenced images here, not fully managed inside the catalog).
The other issue you mentioned is sync an updated folder. This is not available. When you add images to a folder that has been imported earlier, you have to import the new images manually. You should be able to import the entire folder as CO7 will prevent duplicate images (again: referenced images).0 -
Thank you Paul -
Yes, I am talking about referenced images.
I did see ability to locate individual "offline" files manually. So that I'm clear ... i would need to "locate" any moved files one at a time?
Importing images added to a folder isnt much of an issue for me since my game plan is to use CO to do the initial import from my cf.
Thanks again.0
