setting default output folder, how?

    Yes, it can if you have CO6 Pro (or DB). Output tool tab, Process Recipe, Advanced tab:
    Sub Folder: <you name it>
    Root Folder: Output Folder

    It doesn't seem to work as I'd expect...

    I still have to go under the "output" naming tab and click the "..." to specify a "output to" folder each time I start working in a new folder?

    When I change to another folder of RAW images, the output jpg goes into the folder I was previously working in.

    In the old C1 v4 it would always go in the "develops" folder, now in C1 v6 it seems to have done 180 degree turn and I can't even force it to do what it once did by default.

    Think Paul meant

    Sub Folder: <you name it> eg. developed
    Root Folder: IMAGE Folder

    This works developed image always appears in sub folder called developed in a sub folder of where the original RAW file resides.
