I am sorry if I am rehashing an old subject, but has anyone had success in tethering to one of the new MBPs with a Phase One back via FW800 and Apples adapter?

  How is that you are accomplishing it? I have tried with battery in back...no battery in back...

  BTW, I did force the battery on the back and forced FW as well. The back would not connect, but it will connect to a 2011 iMac without any problems. I have 5 backs and 4 TB to FW adapters. All the combinations give the same result.
