automation with c1 and droplets
hi everyone, just a quick question, as part of my workflow it would be very helpfull if i could send the proccessed output of c1 to a photoshop droplet, thereby enabling me to skip that step. it seems like this should work, what i have done is created a droplet and then selected it in the open with section of the\"atributes\" tab in c1 prefences dialog box. theoreticaly then c1 should send the file to this droplet after proccesing, however i cannot get it to work. any ideas?
Thanks, Dave

I believe the preference you are setting is basically just the default application the file will open with when double-clicked in the finder. To automate a process that involves more than one application I think the best solution is to use Applescript. It is a very powerful tool in my workflow but it takes a while to learn if you haven't used it before. I don't know any quick tricks to help you out but I think it's well worth looking into if you truly want to streamline your workflow.
By the way, C1 has somewhat limited scripting capabilities at the moment, but it's definitely possible to connect C1 and Photoshop with no human intervention. Good luck.
