C1 5 Hesitates to process

I have not had any trouble with my C1 Pro and installed the latest update about a week ago. Today when I click to process files it hesitates a very long time ( 3 or more minutes) before it begins to process the files. It appears to hang up, but it actually is just taking a very long time to get started. No changes to my system, a Core Duo that is plenty powerful. Any ideas on this or what to do to fix it?

  You can try cleanup your "history" BATCH TAB --> History --> Clear History button
  
  I don't know why but about some P1 crashes it works for me.

  I've had the same thing a couple of times, C1 5 Pro on 8-core Mac Pro. I just deleted the que in the batch list (it was the only file there), and that stopped it. I had to close the program and restart and then it worked fine.

  In followup, I have taken the advice here and went to my process history and deleted the history. I could not believe how much "stuff" was in there! Many many thousands of images. I have not had any problems since I deleted the history, so hopefully that solves the problem.
