Upgrade path
I am currently on 9.2.1 and wish to upgrade to 10. I had a case open with POne about some issues I was having in 9.2.1 with metadata and how the metadata was handled in 9.3 - it is listed specifically in the 9.3 release notes. Having had a number of issues regarding metadata with 9.2 I was anxious not to upset my full sync xmp files. I only take jpgs and use keywords and gps data on every image. In addition to that, support did say that 9.3 needed to regenerate all previews.
My question is should I upgrade to 9.3 and then 10.1 or jump straight to 10.1? Or worse still upgrade to each issued release one at a time.
My take is that every employee of POne will be on the latest version at any given time and so the vast amount of testing will have been from 9.3 - 10.*. The downside is that I may end up regenerating previews twice.

If you are upgrading to 10 and using the 10 rendering engine by default, Capture One will re-generate the previews regardless. It will make no difference to go from 9.2.1 to 10.1.1 or 9.3 to 10.1.1. Just understand and give it time to regenerate previews. 0 -
Excellent, thank you.
