C1 V8.2 and V8.3 geotagging import errors
Never had a problem with this until yesterday....
I geotag my pictures in camera, then import into C1. Yesterday, a whole album imported with the wrong location (I/m in Colorado, USA but the EXIF shows I'm in the middle of the Atlantic ocean - not even close 😂 . So I bought an EXIF editor, expecting to edit the geotags and re-import the files. But to my surprise the EXIF in the camera file was correct, and the data in the C1 file was wrong.
I exported the C1 files, and the geotag info is correct. So the EXIF data is correct but C1 reports it as the wrong location. Interestingly, all images are offset by the same amount, so that if I move a mile between shots it also moves a mile in the wrong geotag info...
Today I shot another album and had exactly the same results, so it wasn't a one time problem. I'm wondering if C1 somehow applies a correction to the geotags?

Now that you mention it, I see the same issue. Not that this would be very concerning to me since there is no collective map view in C1 like there is in Aperture. That Google Map link isn't very useful in that sense but it seems like it's a UI display issue of the longitude (latitude is fine) that's completely messed up. The link then uses that same incorrect info to display the wrong location on the map.
Personally, this is a bug that doesn't really bother me since there's no collective map. Once that's in there, yes, this would be annoying. The location I shot was in NYC, whereas the location shown on the map was Madrid, Spain. lol0 -
I suggest you both report it in a support case. Upload an image and your findings. Support can have R&D to take a look at it. 0 -

So far it works for me as usual.
I tagged the photo using PhotoLinker and synced the metaata.
Anyway, Madrid ad the surrouding are good places!0
