Just realised that C1 does not import, edit or export the Copyright URL field. Doh!
Coming from using other RAW processors I just assume all this basic stuff is handled the same. A bit of a pain to have to reapply this via my DAM software to any exported C1 files ☹️

You reminded me that I had been intending to clarify the use and potential of some of the EXIF fields so I thought I would investigate further.

    http://www.photometadata.org/META-Resou ... ight%20URL

I have no idea how up to date this information is - did not see a date on the page - but as I don't think this is a fast moving subject area it is probably still current. (assume the site itself has validity ....)

    "Copyright URL [Photoshop]
This field is not part of the IPTC Core; it exists only as part of the Photoshop XMP Namespace. Use with caution, as some software programs will not recognize this field."

So it seems to be a Photoshop thing and therefore something that any application seeking to be 100% PS aligned and enabled would need to consider. If one was going for cross application consistency based solely on fully compatible EXIF standards it would not be required and, indeed, might be a standards failure! (I don't know since I have not read the rules about EXIF standards for a long time.)

As a resource for onward interpretation I found this table useful:
