I don't know the answer to all your questions.

I think the meta data should be synchronized when you have the settings right, but i never check myself. I only care whether they are correct in MP.

But, MP doesn't show the changes you make to your files in CO7 anymore. To do that, you need to stick to CO6.

I'm hoping P1 is updating MP to be able to cope with the CO7 engine.

    Fabrizio,

MediaPro doesn’t yet support the new CaptureOne7 render engine, hence it can’t show any edits you’ve made in CaptureOne7. The edits aren’t gone once you import files into MediaPro, they just aren’t visible until the forthcoming MediaPro update.

I also found edits written with MediaPro to a DNG’s metadata section won’t show up in CaptureOne7. Color, classification etc. transfer fine when using “always create XMP sidecar†inside MediaPro when syncing, but not when “only when unable to embedâ€.

In short: the current version of MediaPro doesn’t play nicely with CaptureOne 7. Yet. If you need to work with both programs, you’ll have to accept that CO edits won’t show up in MediaPro, and that you’ll need to use XMP sidecars “alwaysâ€. At least, until a next version of MediaPro is released. Which, personally, I hope happens quicksmart as it’s a pain.

    Cheers,
    -Sascha

I'll wait the MP new released... I bought it after I upgrade CO 7... I love CO but 7 version need to resolve some bugs...
Normally I used LR and never tested MP I'd like use a compatible CO software and MP like I seen buy the tutoria it could be good... But is it slow in the preview for you too? The MP rendering is really slow...

    Thank again My best.
    And happy new year!

MediaPro 1.4 is still in Beta, apparently. Sucks.
