    Hi

    Thanks for the quick reply.

I've read through the threads, but I'm still really confused.
I have to install a unofficial 'workaround hack' and it still might not work?

    Regards

The workaround works, hence the name 😎

Apple introduced some incompatibility with 10.7.5 so the only way to circumvent that was to use 6.4.4 or 7 with the Canon SDK as listed in the workaround.

However, with Capture One 7.0.2 that should all be history.

Sound, thanks again for the reply.

I'm going to try loading CO7 today. I've never had to 'patch' an official piece of software before though.

Would it be better to try this before or after loading OS 10.8?

I don't have a reason to advise pro or against the order of installation of CO7 and OS X 10.8.2. From a logical point of view, I would setup my OS X first, make it happy and snappy (or whatever you might find necessary to configure or test) and next upgrade all applications if necessary.

Just for understanding: with CO 7.0.2 no patching is required.
