I had to post in a reply, didnt see an edit option . . .

The 2 main problems seem to be

    1) C1 crashes on or about the time that it finishes loading the work files and starts to load the previews. This is on both of the networked computers, gigabit thernet, P4 w/1G ram.

    2) C1 installs itself n a c/program files/desktop directory instead of the c/program files/phase one directory. And all of the color profiles are missing. I can load a complete job without crashing (most of the time) but I cant process them becasue C1 doesnt have the correct profiles.

My best guess is that you have at some poing dragged the executable file to c:\\program files\\desktop or if it is c:\\Documents and settings\\%user name%\\Desktop\\ this is why the application has registed it self on this path.
    I suggest you do following
    http://support.phaseone.com/KB/Home/Sea ... nguageID=1
Make sure that there is no captureone.exe file on your computer including your desktop

Yes, I did that as soon as I saw it on the forum. I was able to properly install C1 on that, the main computer. Except that it still crashes. And it still crashes on the 2 networked coputers that have been installed from the networked hard drive that has the install file. I even tried copying the install file to the C: drive of the network computer and installing it from there to see if that made a difference and it did not. The main problem, and this has to tell us a clue, maybe it doesnt, is that C1 crashes after it finishes loading the work files and before it starts loading the previews on all 3 computers. What does that mean in the way the program works?
