Thumbnails not cropped?

Hi Steve, I am afraid thumbnails always appear cropped if the image is cropped.

I also would really like to see the final crop in the browser view - ideally as an option?

Select the thumbnail and make it appear in the viewer. Then go to the "cursor tools" and click "crop" icon to make your adjustments. Click on the "select" too (the arrow head) and the cropped image will appear in the Viewer. You can flip between the 2 tools to before and after.

Thanks! Thats in the viewer only, is it? What I would like to see is an option to see the cropped images in the browser, without the cropped away part. I would find an option ideal because I actually do see it as a feature to see how and where an image is cropped in the browser too - just not always.

I second this feature request from @stevebuk and @Neonsquare
I too like the ability to see how an original was cropped in the browser, but when browsing through images I'd like the traditional option of seeing the results of my cropped images alongside the rest in my album.

Sorry for bumping an old thread but instead of duplicating the request I would like to say that I also want this feature. That small crop without zooming in is not very user-friendly, hard to see and hard to appreciate my work.

If realized, I would like to see it as a preference option. Then I could go for a full thumb with crop frame (as it is now) for working with images, and cropped thumbs for viewing/showing images. With a keyboard shortcut to toggle the thumb crop.

I think, I'll file a feature request at PO support.

    Regards,
    Hans

Is there a way to support or ad a vote to the feature request you mentioned?

I hope there would be a way to vote against too. I like it the way it is!

This one is a real nightmare. I really don't understand why they don't show the thumbnail the way the image looks like. Once I have cropped I'm not going back every half our to look if I could still crop some more or less in the thumbnail.
