Just downloaded; can't actually do image edits. Help!

Hi everyone,

I just downloaded Capture One with the intention of testing the program. While I can view image files, I can't actually edit them. Instead of numerical values, there's "--" for each of the edit options: http://xs234.xs.to/xs234/08505/help429.jpg (a screen shot)

I'd really appreciate any insight into this problem. It's probably something really obvious, but I can't figure it out...

  What camera RAW file are you trying to edit.
  The program only works on supported camera RAW files. ( Can't edit jpeg's )

  This can have several causes, and besides a not supported raw format, most common cause is that users sometimes accidently try to edit JPEG or TIFF files. Not supported, raw only.

  I have the same problem!
  Please give a solution, or i give other rawconverters a try....
  BTW, i did NOT open a jpg or tiff, but a real raw file!

  Solution:
  
  1. Right click on your shortcut
  3. Choose Properties
  4. Choose tab Compatibility.
  5. Set a check mark in “Run this program as an administratorâ€
  6. Click “OKâ€
