Process file output location
When processing files in a C1 catalog, is it possible to select a file and apply two separate process recipes, each recipe with its own output folder? I was only able to assign one output folder location for both recipes. The idea is to process once and get two different files in two different folder locations.

Yes you can send output from different recipes to different folders.
In fact you can send output from the same recipe to different folders using the token facility.
If you want to run the same recipe twice- i.e send the result of a single recipe to more than one location to more then you would need to either copy the recipe and run both versions with different settings or run the same recipe a second time with adjusted output values. You could set up the revised values and send the second run to the batch queue before the first batch has finished. If you do that I would suggest you make sure your system has enough performance to run the process sufficiently quickly if each batch has a lot of images. Clearly it could be quite a long process if you are asking it to perform a lot of output processing.

I have two separate recipes checked. Changing the Output Location Destination folder of one recipe affects the other. So, in the end I end up with two files in the same folder when the process runs. When highlighting the checked recipes in the Process Recipe tab. The output location does not update if the highlight changes from one recipe to the next.
Shouldn't each recipe display its own Output Location Destination in the drop down menu?0 -
If you want the images to go to the same basic location but into separate folders you can do that by setting values for the Sub Folder in the File Tab.
A subfolder in the Output Location section sets a subfolder there if required and the File subfolders will be applied to that.
If you want greater granularity within folders you can look at the token options.
Alternatively if you set a folder in the File tab "Root Folder" option your output will be sent there.
It can be wherever you want it to be. You can still create subfolders.
I would suggest making the naming specific if you use that option since a list of previously used locations is offered but only the folder names - so if you make all of them destination folder called, for example "Output" it won't help you find one if you need to re-use it.
Does this help?
Have you checked the help files? They may offer a more detailed description - not sure as it's a while since I last looked.
I seem to recall there is also a webinar video that covers this.

Thanks for the feedback. I was able to make it work by assigning the output destination in the Process Recipe Root Folder menu and assigning the Output Location to a the project folder. 0
