Referenced images not found
I use a referenced catalogue. I have the images by year and various named folders with the images in them on a separate hard drive. When I open my C1 11I have a folder in 2016 Called Trip to Tamworth and it shows 31 images. However when I open that folder I can see only 4 images. I cannot re import them because the catalogue says they are there, and I cannot syncronise them because again it says they are there. The images are of course on the Hard drive and I can view them by other means, just not in C1. The only way I have found is to delete the folder and re import, but that seems to lose any adjustments that I have done.
What is going on and how do I rectify the problem?

Do you have a filter applied when you open the folder?
If not, are the files possibly extremely large in pixel dimensions or extremely small?
What are the file types?

No filters applied. Just a 24mb craws and some jpegs. I have gone through a lot of my library now and there does not seem to be any more folders like it so perhaps its just an anomaly 0 -
It sounds odd.
Also somewhat difficult to suggest a route by which one might investigate other than creating a Support Case and sending Phase the log files to investigate.
Have you tried verifying the catalogue using the verification tool provided?
As a session user I would go into the file system and look for the edit files, etc., and take investigation from there but I'm not sure what is possible in that respect within a catalogue. No time to look into it at the moment.
You could try creating a new catalogue and re-importing just that folder to it to see if you get the same results.
There are some possible constraints for technical reasons. Images that are B&W (monochrome) rather than colour at source for example. There is information in the Release Notes document.
HTH.

Thank you for taking the time to consider this, I appreciate it. I will just keep an eye on random folders to check and if I come across it again I will do something with PhaseOne. 0
