    Hello everyone

I can't find the lens profiles of two lenses on Capture One Express for Sony: the Sony Vario-Tessar T* E 16-70mm f/4 ZA OSS and the Sony E 35mm f/1.8 OSS. There is a "Manufacturer Profile" (don't know what it is), but not a specific one for each lens.
Capture One is supposed to be the recommended RAW converter for Sony RAW images so...

    Any help with that please?

    TIA

As I understand it for the Sony ranges appropriate to the C1 arrangement there MAY be 2 lens profiles.

The "Manufacturer profile" uses the data provided by the lens and is the same as the camera would us internally.

In some cases specific lenses may also have Capture One created profiles with potentially different settings than the Sony internal profiles. Older lenses that had been profiled before the Sony relationship was agree would be one example.

There may be other lenses that have for some reason attracted personalised attention from the Phase crew.

I seem to recall reading about this somewhere in a post but not being a Sony user I have not saved a reference.

If you feel you need more confirmation it would be best to create a Support Case and get the official words.

    HTH.

Current Sony cameras wrote a lens data (at least a distortion and vignetting profile) in RAW file.
The problems is with lack of profiles for older lens like A-mount.
