5.1.1 adresses at least the first 2 reported known issues in 5.1 (and most likely many more considering the time it took to release it). 0 -

Sony Alpha files are much improved with generic V2 and noise has been imporved as well.
The crop tool is broken. Working on two screens, changing from zoom to crop does not work on screen 1 anymore, the hand tool icon stays, in deed no cursor function change works, however one can crop on the second screen.
I reported this to P1 in Germany today.

If this is an issue then it is only if you are using dual monitors. Myself and a different user used it on our respective single monitor computers overnight to see if it was an issue, and the crop tool works just fine. Neither of us use dual monitor computers.0 -
I was not yet able to copy the issue of the broken crop tool on OS X 10.5.8 / CO 5.1.1 Pro in a dual monitor setup.
I would suggest to clear the preference file, next the session file and last the workspace file.0 -
