how are the experiences with 4.6.3? I was was using 4.6.1 and that was terrible and I went back to 4.6.0.
Can I install 4.6.3 or are there also big crashing problems, I hope it works great.

  4.6.1 was notoriously crashing (Edit: on Mac). 4.6.2 and 4.6.3 are much more stable (that is, fewer people are getting mad due to crashes).

  I´m quite happy with 4.6.3 Pro (WinXP Os)
  
  ...except that 5DMkII images won´t allways focus...

  yes I mean on a mac intel 10.5.6 and a phaseone digital back.

  got some problems (instant crashes, a lot of) in the 4.5 days.
  
  now, with 4.6.3 is (and 4.6.1 4.6.2 were) very stable on my two years old macpro.
  for phase one and canon files.
  
  pros:
  processing and previewing of captures a lot faster than 3.7.8.
  also, the live view a lot better on the 4.6 than 3.7.8 (available just for phase backs, not dslr's)
  
  cons:
  100% zooming in livepreview is erratic (sometimes focus view displays a different area than what you select the main view).
  annoying rotation orientation for the shots taken right from above.
  naming captures still awkward, you cannot set a default, every session you have to dial the settings again and again.
  also, i would preffer to have the same output folder, regardless of the sessions (this was possible setting a deafult in 4.0 and 4.1, maybe someone can give me a tip on this)
