C1 LE (demo) won't see any files

I'm in the process of looking for a RAW converter for my Konica-Minolta A2 camera and have read the very good reports about C1 LE (mainly via the excellent 'Luminous Landscape' website). I downloaded the LE demo from the P1 website and at first it seemed to do what it is intended to. However now I can't get the software to recognise anything at all.
I've looked at the archives and found quite a few other people having very similar problems to me. I've trashed the Phase One batch caches and the preferences, reinstalled the program, run disc utility and fixed permissions, and also run DiskWarrior- but alas, no joy. I have tried to get the software to read directly from the card (via the pcmcia slot), read from the camera and upload directly into the HD but all I get (for everything) is a blank browser.
Perhaps this is a feature of using the demo? But I think not because why would you be allowed 15 days trial when it only works for 1 of these days?
I also downloaded the Pro version but all it did was crash everytime I tried to upload any files. (I've got the crash logs if you need to view those).
I want to love this software (mainly because there isn't much else out there like it), but feel I don't want to part with £70 for software that dosen't work properly.
BTW I'm on a Powerbook G4 500Ti running OS10.3.5

Could I please ask you to create a support case at http://support.phaseone.com and to this case upload a RAW file from your A2 to verify that there isn´t an issue with the RAW files.0 -

Dear Ulf,
Thanks for the quick response. I endevour to try uploading an A2 RAW file tonight (I'm still on a dial-up slow-go modem here- and to upload a file, it will take ages! 😉)
But to be honest, I have also purchased the MRWformat pluggin for Photoshop as a last resort and I have no problem whatsoever here as it processes the files effortlessly- which leaves me with the conclusion that the fault lies with Capture One- I'm afraid ☹️

PS, fwiw, C1 LE isn't 'seeing' the thumbnails, tiffs or j-pegs either.0 -
If program doesnt see any files then I tend to lean towards that you are not operating the program correctly.
