Updating to 5.1.2
When upgrading from Capture One Pro 5.1.1 to 5.1.2, does Phase One recommend a complete deactivation and uninstall procedure for best results and compatibility, or is this not necessary? Obviously the complete uninstall process is tedious and risky, so I would rather simply drag the updated file into the Applications alias (I'm using a Mac), but it's essential that I preserve the most stable possible shooting and editing environment, for which I have been recommended a clean install.
What is Phase One's recommendation for this?
Many thanks.

I have upgraded several times from the version 4.x version to the current 5.1.2. I never had to deactivate the program unless I was switching the license to a new machine. Just follow the install instructions from either the download page or when the download is completed. I hope this helps. 0 -
getting another issue. Tried to update to 5.1.2 and get an 404 Error, seems the server doesn't exist anymore, or is it because I'm on hotel server in Germany and not at home?
cheers for any help0 -
Could be, try using the server download for Denmark (at least that is what I remember). It may be IP sensitive. 0 -
Thanks (again!)
That cracked it!0
